You take a photo.
We do the rest.

01

Photograph it, get a price

Take a few photos of one thing and we tell you what it should sell for, and why. No listing to write, no research, no guessing what it is worth.

02

A local entrepreneur takes it on

Someone vetted turns up and collects it. From there the photos, the listing, the messages and the meet ups are all theirs to handle.

03

You get paid when it sells

You can see what it sold for and what your share is. Nothing to chase, nobody to haggle with, no waiting in for a buyer who never shows.

04

Nothing good goes to the tip

Things that still have life left get rehomed instead of dumped, and every job counts up how much has been kept out of landfill.

The estimate

What the number means before anything sells

Every price shown before a sale is an estimate, and the payout can change once the item is listed and sold. Here is exactly how it is worked out and what your reseller is on the hook for.

It comes from what things actually sold for

We compare your item against completed sales of similar items, both on the open market and through Cluttr itself, then sanity check that figure against a sensible range for that kind of thing. Asking prices and what you originally paid do not move the number, because neither is what a buyer will hand over.

It is your share, not the shelf price

The figure you see is what reaches you. The service fee and the reseller commission are already taken out, and bulky items like sofas and fridges already carry their collection cost. Nothing is added on afterwards.

Your reseller works towards it for 30 days

For the first 30 days your reseller is obligated to genuinely go after that figure: listing it properly, photographing it well, relisting it and promoting it. They can adjust within that window if the market tells them to, but the estimate is the target they are working to, not an opening suggestion.

When we cannot price something, we say so

Antiques, art, jewellery and anything we do not have a reliable basis for come back as unknown rather than as a confident-looking guess. You can still send them, and your reseller confirms what they are worth before anything is sold.

If an item sells for more than the estimate, that upside is yours. If it sells for less, you see exactly what it went for and why.
